Sandy Kursban Sandy Kursban is a co-owner and Chairman of Family & Nursing Care Therapeutic Massage. Sandy can easily be described as a trailblazer. Her deep respect and sensitivity toward older adults inspired her to start Family & Nursing Care in 1968. During the past 44 years, Sandy has been a key part of shaping the way home care is provided in the Washington, DC area. She has given freely of her time to better serve the older adult population through partnering with other companies, participating on various boards and committees, serving as a resource for others, and remaining involved with state and local politics and legislation.

Neal Kursban Neal Kursban is the President of Family & Nursing Care Therapeutic Massage. Neal has a MBA in Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a member of the Private Care Association and the Association for Independent Health Care Owners. He has served as a Board member for the Grass Roots Organization for the Well Being of Seniors (GROWS) and is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Jewish Council for the Aging. He is also actively involved with several hospice agencies in the region.

Mindy Kursban, is the Vice President of Family & Nursing Care Therapeutic Massage. Mindy, a graduate of Emory University School of Law, is an attorney with 11 years of executive management experience. She worked as in-house counsel and Director of Corporate Growth for Family & Nursing Care since 2007. Prior to that, Mindy served eight years as general counsel and then Executive Director of the nonprofit Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, where she currently serves as a Board member.

Mitch Markowitz, Vice President, Business Development
Originally from New Jersey, Mitch has been with Family & Nursing Care since 2001. A graduate of Towson University, Mitch is responsible for marketing and business development for Family & Nursing Care Therapeutic Massage. Prior to joining the Family & Nursing Care, most of Mitch's experience was in the senior housing industry, at both assisted living communities and continuing care retirement communities. He is very active in the local community, currently serving on the Board of Trustees for The Beacon Institute. He has also served as co-chairperson of the GROWS Program Committee as well as other local committees.

Dawn Seek, Vice President, Operations
A 34-year healthcare veteran, Dawn has spent the last 23 years in home health care. Dawn's experience includes working as a nurse liaison for a home infusion company, manager of a case management department for a large home health agency and as the Director of Operations for a private duty agency. Dawn is a licensed nurse, and also holds a degree in business management from Potomac College in Washington, DC. Dawn currently serves as an executive board member of the Maryland National Capital Homecare Association (MNCHA).
